The Luz De Maria Fundraiser was founded by Jacob Arnstein in April of 2021. It was his vision to help give back to the community that gave so much to him. He was adopted from the Luz De Maria Orphanage at 15 months old by his parents Jamie and Maureen. When COVID-19 shocked the world, Jacob (who was 14 at the time) walked up to his parents and asked if he could run a Ninja Warrior style fundraiser in his backyard.

5 years later he (with the much appreciated help from his family and friends) has run 5 successful events with a 6th scheduled for June 28th, 2026. He has spread his message of helping others when competing on the TV show American Ninja Warrior.
